When is the Bike Available?

Only Clairemont DMV?
The Clairemont DMV has the easiest test circle, and the nicest testers. Trust
me on this. It also reduces confusion to just keep it at one DMV. Due to the
limited range of the small bike I can't service other DMV's (unless you pay
me an obscene amount of money to load it in my truck!).
Any day other than Thursdays?
Unfortunately, I still have a real job shooting x-rays five days a week, so
Thursdays only. If you absolutely can not get a Thursday appointment, give
me a call and we'll work something out.
How Much?
$45 buckaroos covers transportation to the DMV,
insurance on the bike, and the test (in other words,
everything you need to get your license).

Are you affiliated with the DMV?
No. DMV Test bike offers services so you an pass the state exam. You'll
need to call the DMV at 1-800-777-0133 to book your appointment.
How Do I Get an Appt?
First you need your motorcycle permit. You can get this by taking a written
test at any DMV. To book a riding skills test, call the DMV at 1-800-777-0133.
Then book your appointment on any Thursday after 10am and email me the
time: Brian@dmvtestbike.com. I will meet you there 30 minutes before your
scheduled appt. in the motorcycle parking area.
What Type of Bike is it?
A Yamaha xt225. It was chosen specifically because it is the smallest
freeway legal motorcycle made, is lightweight, and has a low seat height. It's
been set up specifically for the test with street supermoto wheels and
smoother gearing.
How Much Practice Time Do I Get?
I'll meet you a half hour before your scheduled appointment. This is plenty of
time to get comfortable on the bike. Most testers only use 15 minutes of
practice time due to the ease of riding this bike.
Will your bike qualify me for a M1 license?
